SJA's Student Theater season, Teatro Proyekto opened its curtains with the touching, rousing, and awe-inspiring rendition of Les Miserables, based on Victor Hugo's classic French novel and Boublil and Schonberg's musical. English teacher Tim Talisayon produced two sets of Les Miz composed of an all Grade 8 -student cast who sang live and portrayed the timeless themes of revlolution, love, and redemption.
While the High School department fionished all of their plays, unfortunately, preschool to Grade 6 teatro were cancelled due to the community quarantine imposed by the government in response to the COVID 19 health crisis. Still, we congratulate the organizers and the pupils for their preparations. We hope that the pupils will still have the chance to shine onstage next school year.
